Bug Club Comprehension
Bug Club Comprehension focuses on developing children's comprehension skills, encouraging discussion around a stimulating array of new whole texts and interactive online books.
Teachers have organised individual logins for children, which has enabled them to allocate children with appropriate texts based on their reading attainment.
After children select a text that they are interested in, they will see a bug icon appear on the page as they read. If they click this, it will generate a question which they can answer. This develops their comprehension skills as well as building reading fluency. There is also a read aloud option.
