Welcome to Year 2!

I am Miss Small and I am the Year 2 teacher. I have worked at Saint Mary's for 10 years now and I love my job. The Year 2 classroom is a happy place where we love learning  

We work hard as a team to always do our best, value each other, and be good friends.

Autumn 2024

English learning

Our class book this half-term is 'Troll Swap' by Leigh Hodgkinson. We will be working towards writing our own versions of the story. 

Maths learning

During the Autumn term we will be learning about Place Value, Addition & Subtraction and Shape.
