Welcome to Year 6!

We are Mrs Burrow & Mr Billings and we are the Year 6 teachers. Our classroom is always busy and full of exciting learning opportunities and responsibilities.

English Learning:

Our current text is 'Star of Fear, Star of Hope' by Jo Hoestlandt. We have enjoyed exploring the story, writing from different characters' perspectives and we are working towards writing our own flashback story from an alternative point of view.

Maths Learning:

This term, we have been focussing on place value and the four operations.

We enjoy doing active, outdoor lessons and solving problems.

RE Learning:

We are currently focussing on the topic of the Kingdom of God. Our next topic is about Justice.

Science:

Our current topic is Animals Including Humans.
