Our class book in Autumn 1 will be Troll Swap by Leigh Hodgkinson. The children will be writing a fiction story, with a character focus.

Our class book in Autumn 2 is a non-fiction text on the Great Fire of London by Emma Adams and James Weston Lewis. We will be working towards writing our own fact files about the fire. 

We use the 'Monster Phonics' programme for teaching Phonics and early reading.

Autumn 1

This half-term our unit is 'Creation and Covenant' and we will be learning about the story of Noah and God's promise.  

Autumn 2

In our second unit, Prophecy and Promise, we will be learning about Zechariah and John the Baptist, as well as the Annunciation and Birth of Jesus.
