At Saint Mary’s, our School Council is a dedicated team of pupils from Reception to Year 6 who represent the voices of their classmates and help make our school an even better place to learn and grow. They work together to share ideas, make decisions, and support school initiatives that benefit everyone in our community.

Our School Council aims to:
Represent the views and ideas of all pupils across the school.
Work with staff to make improvements that support learning, wellbeing, and enjoyment.
Encourage kindness, respect, and responsibility throughout the school community.
Help organise and support school events, fundraising, and charity projects.
Promote pupil voice and ensure that everyone feels heard and valued.
Our School Councillors have lots of exciting responsibilities, including:
Attending regular meetings to share ideas and discuss important school matters.
Gathering feedback from their classmates and reporting back to their year groups.
Helping to plan and lead school initiatives, such as charity days or school projects.
Supporting assemblies and events that celebrate our school values.
Working together to make Saint Mary’s a happy, inclusive, and inspiring place for all.
