I am Miss Small and I am the Reception teacher. The Reception classroom is a happy place where every child will feel safe, valued and loved. Through exploration and play, the children will develop their curiosity, confidence, and independence. I am excited to be teaching your child this year!
Mrs Luby will be supporting Reception this year. Miss Manley will be teaching Reception on a Monday afternoon.

Our Summer 2 topic will be toys and learning about the past. We will be learning through the following high-quality texts:
We will be learning about different toys, toys from the past, and materials used to make toys. We will be learning about weather changes and Summertime. We will also be learning about and partaking in activities for the King’s Birthday, Father’s Day, World Music Day, and having Teddy Bears’ Picnic.

At Saint Mary's, we teaching RE supported by the Diocesan Scheme, 'The Vine and The Branches'.
The Vine and The Branches is divided into six Branches.
In Summer 2, we will be learning how Christians work together with people of different religions. We will learn that Jesus is our friend, all about different Saints, including Saint Peter and Saint Paul. We will also her who is a good neighbour and how we can be good neighbours.
