Spring Topic map
English
Our class book this half term is 'Nen and the lonely fisherman'. The children will be writing their own fantasy story based on a classic tale.
Maths
During the Spring term the children will be continuing to develop their times-tables knowledge and will also cover length and perimeter, fractions and mass and capacity.
Please find some helpful website below. Weekly homework will be on mymaths.
RE learning
This half term our unit is 'Celebrating the Mass'. We will be looking at each part of the Mass and making links between this and Jesus' last supper.
Science
Over the next few weeks we will be looking at rocks including fossil and soils.
Topic
In History, we will be looking at the Romans and why they settled in Britain. We will be looking at the Roman army and how they built road and villages and the impact it has on our lives today.
