I retired three years ago after spending over 50 years in the legal profession, working in practices in central Manchester and North Cheshire.  I still carry out some consultancy work for my last practice.

I have three children and three step-children and between them, they have provided us with 16 grandchildren who keep us on our toes at all times.

I have lived in Congleton for ten years, and am an active member of St. Mary's church.  I enjoy travel, walking and am a season ticket holder at Manchester City.

I am proud to have been asked to be a governor at Saint Mary's school and I relish the commitment to assist all the pupils to achieve their educational goals.
