Join our tutor Lucy McGeown for our weekly art session looking at the wonderful and wacky world of Japanese artist Yayoi Kusama!

We will be playing around with drawing all kinds of dot covered things and recreating her infinity room in 2D by experimenting with scale to create optical tricks.
This is a great class to play and will allow your kids to find out more about one of the most prolific artists of our time, to date she has cretaed over 50,000 artworks!!!

These classes are designed for ages 6-10 yrs

We recommend parents join children in these sessions as it is a lovely activity to share together!

Everyone is welcome to join in on this Pay What You Can class… we know this is a difficult and uncertain time for many and we want to do our best to support you - Please pay what you can afford and our online classes will be able to run on a donations basis - if you are struggling, consider this one on the house! You just need to email us stating your situation at londondrawinggroup@gmail.com and we'll make it happen for you.

Monday 8th June is World Ocean Day and we'll be providing a series of engaging resources and activities throughout the week to help you and your students learn more about our planet's ocean habitats; starting with a free World Ocean Day virtual conference on Monday 8th June at 10am.

 

MON 8th JUNE @ 10am: World Oceans Day Online Conference

Celebrate World Oceans Day this year with a special live broadcast highlighting some of the amazing species that live around the English coastline. The broadcast will be aimed at 7-14 year olds but is suitable for everyone.

 

TUE, 9th JUNE: Explore our ocean biome

Choose from our suite of educational curriculum linked resources, or encourage your students to use the explorable Our Planet globe to learn more about our ocean habitats and the threats they face.

 

WED, 10th JUNE @ 11AM: Make it - a recycled deep sea squid

Join Annette for a live Facebook event where she'll be making a fabulously colourful deep sea squid from the open oceans using recycled clothing.
